This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all access to and use of services, applications, APIs, communications systems, collaboration products, Vitel Meet, AI Features, websites, networks, and related resources provided by Vitel Global Communications LLC (collectively, the “Services”). This AUP is incorporated into the applicable agreement governing the Services.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their administrators, users, employees, contractors, invitees, guests, applications, integrations, and persons using the Services through their accounts comply with this AUP.
You may not use the Services in violation of applicable law, regulation, court order, sanctions requirement, intellectual property right, privacy right, contractual duty, or legally binding industry requirement applicable to your use.
You may not use the Services to commit or facilitate fraud, phishing, identity theft, deceptive impersonation, forgery, scams, materially misleading communications, unauthorized account takeover, credential theft, or other dishonest conduct.
You may not misrepresent that AI-generated, recorded, edited, or synthetic content was created or communicated by another person where doing so is deceptive, unlawful, or likely to cause material harm.
You may not use the Services to threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, extort, dox, unlawfully discriminate against, or intentionally facilitate abuse of another person. You may not distribute content that is unlawful, exploitative, or intended to incite imminent violence.
You may not record, transcribe, monitor, analyze, identify, track, or surveil a person in violation of applicable law or without required notice or consent. Meeting hosts and customers are responsible for recording-consent, interception, workplace-monitoring, biometric, and privacy obligations applicable to their use.
You may not intentionally bypass or conceal recording, transcription, AI, consent, access, or privacy indicators in order to defeat legal requirements or deceive participants.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, data, source code, model parameters, administrative interfaces, or security controls; probe or scan systems without authorization; exploit vulnerabilities; interfere with authentication; or bypass rate limits or technical restrictions.
Good-faith security research must be conducted only under a Vitel Global vulnerability disclosure or testing program, if available, or with prior written authorization.
You may not transmit, host, distribute, or facilitate malware, ransomware, spyware, credential-stealing software, botnets, malicious scripts, destructive code, or instructions intended to compromise systems or data.
You may not use the Services to send unlawful or abusive unsolicited communications, spam, bulk messaging, robocalls, or marketing communications without legally required consent, registration, opt-out mechanisms, disclosures, and other requirements. Product-specific messaging and calling policies may impose additional obligations.
You may not use the Services to infringe or misappropriate copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, publicity, privacy, or other rights. You may not upload or disclose confidential information that you are not authorized to process or share.
You may not use the Services to create, possess, solicit, distribute, promote, or facilitate child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, trafficking, or other unlawful sexual exploitation. Vitel Global may report suspected unlawful content or conduct to appropriate authorities as required or permitted by law.
You may not use AI Features to facilitate fraud, phishing, malicious code, unlawful discrimination, deceptive impersonation, unauthorized surveillance, infringement, exploitation, or evasion of safety controls.
You may not attempt to extract non-public model weights, hidden prompts, training data, confidential system instructions, or security controls through automated extraction, prompt injection, model inversion, or similar methods except with express written authorization.
You must apply appropriate human review before using AI Outputs in consequential decisions and must comply with the Vitel AI Supplemental Terms.
You may not represent that the Services satisfy a legal, regulatory, certification, or industry-specific requirement unless Vitel Global has expressly documented that support for the applicable Service and use case. You are responsible for determining whether the Services are appropriate for healthcare, legal, financial, education, government, employment, payment-card, biometric, or other regulated information or activities.
You may not use AI sentiment, engagement, or inferred characteristics as the sole basis for legally significant decisions about individuals where prohibited or restricted by law.
You may not use the Services in a manner that unreasonably consumes resources, disrupts other users, degrades service availability, abuses free tiers, circumvents plan limits, creates excessive automated traffic, or interferes with Vitel Global infrastructure.
You may not resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized access to the Services except as expressly permitted by your Agreement.
Hosts are responsible for meeting access, participant conduct, content shared on screen, livestream destinations, file distribution, and public links. You may not use Vitel Meet to unlawfully broadcast copyrighted content, expose confidential information, or facilitate unlawful public events.
If you livestream a meeting to a third-party platform, you are responsible for compliance with that platform’s rules and for informing participants that the meeting is being publicly or externally distributed.
Vitel Meet and AI Features are not emergency services. Do not use Vitel Meet as the sole means to contact police, fire, ambulance, emergency medical, crisis-response, or public-safety services.
Vitel Global may investigate suspected violations and may remove or restrict content, rate-limit, suspend, block, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, systems, third parties, or Vitel Global; comply with law; respond to abuse; or enforce the Agreement. Where practicable and legally permitted, Vitel Global will provide notice and an opportunity to cure material violations.
Vitel Global may preserve or disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce contractual rights, protect safety, or respond to valid legal process, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
Suspected abuse may be reported to support@vitelglobal.com. Reports should include sufficient information for Vitel Global to identify the account, meeting, communication, or activity at issue. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
Vitel Global may update this AUP to address new technologies, threats, legal requirements, or product features. Material changes will take effect in accordance with the applicable Agreement and law.
