Overview and scope

This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains how Vitel Global Communications LLC and the Vitel Global affiliate that operates the relevant website, application, or online service (collectively, "Vitel Global," "we," "us," or "our") use cookies and similar technologies. It also explains what information these technologies collect, why we use them, how long they may remain active, when third parties may use them, and the choices available to you.

This Policy applies to Vitel Global websites, web applications, customer portals, and other online services that display or link to it (collectively, the "Services"). It should be read together with the Vitel Global Privacy Policy and any product-specific privacy notice. If a business customer controls a Vitel Global-powered deployment and Vitel Global processes information only on that customer’s behalf, the customer’s notice and instructions may also apply.

This Policy does not govern third-party websites, services, or applications that you visit through a link from the Services. Those third parties apply their own privacy and cookie practices.

What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on or reads from your browser or device. Cookies can remember information about your visit, such as a session identifier, login state, language, preferences, or interactions. Cookies may be set by Vitel Global (first-party cookies) or by another organization whose technology is used on the Services (third-party cookies).

We also use or may use technologies that perform similar functions, including pixels or web beacons, software development kits (SDKs), local storage, tags, scripts, device or browser identifiers, and server-side event tools. Some of these technologies do not rely on cookies, so deleting or blocking cookies alone may not stop every form of measurement or tracking. Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser or end a session. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiration, until they are replaced, or until you delete them. The retention period depends on the purpose and configuration of the technology.

The categories below reflect the purpose of a technology. A single provider may use more than one technology or category. The current Cookie Preferences center is the authoritative source for the categories enabled on a particular Service.

• Keeping track of preferences you have expressed. This allows us to honour your likes and dislikes, such as your language and configuration preferences.

Category	Purpose and effect
Strictly Necessary	Operate core functions requested by you, maintain security, authenticate users, prevent fraud, balance traffic, remember privacy choices, and submit forms. These technologies cannot be disabled through the Cookie Preferences center because the Services may not function without them. You may still block them in your browser, but doing so can break features.
Functional	Remember optional settings such as language, region, display, or communication preferences; enable enhanced features; and support optional embedded or chat functionality. Disabling these technologies may reduce personalization or cause some optional features to work differently.
Performance and analytics	Measure visits, traffic sources, feature use, errors, and navigation patterns so we can understand how the Services perform and improve them. Where required, these technologies are activated only after consent.
Advertising and targeting	Measure campaigns, limit repeated advertisements, create or use audiences, and show more relevant messages on Vitel Global or third-party services. These technologies may recognize a browser or device across services and may be treated as targeted advertising, sale, or sharing under some U.S. state privacy laws.
Social media	Enable sharing, embedded media, and interaction with social platforms. A social platform may recognize you and receive information about your visit, especially if you are signed in to that platform. Depending on function, these technologies are treated as functional or targeting technologies.

Information collected through cookies

Depending on the technology, Service, device, and your choices, cookies may collect or generate:

• Identifiers and network data, such as cookie IDs, session IDs, advertising identifiers, IP address, and consent records.
• Device and browser data, such as browser type, operating system, device type, screen or language settings, and general technical configuration.
• Usage and interaction data, such as pages or features viewed, links clicked, time and date of visits, referring and exit pages, error events, and navigation paths.
• Approximate location inferred from an IP address, such as country, region, or city. We do not use ordinary website cookies to collect your device’s precise GPS location unless a feature separately requests and you grant that permission.

• Advertising and campaign data, such as whether an advertisement or campaign led to a visit, form submission, or other conversion event.

Current providers and technology families

The Services may use the technology families summarized below. Exact cookie names, host domains, providers, purposes, and expiration periods can change as our technology is updated. The Cookie Preferences center should display the current deployment-specific inventory. Technologies listed as "where enabled" are used only on the Services or pages where that integration is active.

How consent and regional choices work

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and similar consent jurisdictions

Where applicable law requires prior consent, Vitel Global does not activate non-essential functional, performance, analytics, advertising, targeting, or social media cookies until you make an affirmative choice. Strictly necessary technologies may be used without consent when they are required to provide a service you request, protect security, or perform another legally exempt function. Any personal information collected after storage or access is handled under the legal bases described in the applicable Privacy Policy.

You may refuse non-essential cookies without losing access to the basic Service. Some optional features or personalized experiences may be unavailable. You may withdraw or change consent at any time through Cookie Preferences. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal, but we will stop future consent-based activation as required and technically feasible.

United States

Vitel Global does not use cookies to sell personal information for cash. However, disclosures of online identifiers or activity data to advertising and analytics partners can be defined as a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may use Cookie Preferences, a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" or similar link if displayed, or a legally recognized opt-out preference signal to exercise the applicable choice.

Where required, we treat a supported Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal. If you are signed in and applicable law requires account-level treatment, we may also associate the request with your account. Because preferences can be browser- and device-specific, you may need to exercise choices on each browser and device you use.

Other regions

We provide cookie information and controls in accordance with applicable local law. The controls shown to you may differ based on the Service, location, device, and legal requirements. We do not use geographic logic to reduce any right that applies to you.

• Cookie Preferences Use the consent banner or the persistent Cookie Preferences link in the website footer or settings area to accept, reject, or customize non-essential categories. The preference itself is stored using a strictly necessary technology.

Deleting cookies may remove a stored preference and cause the banner to reappear. An advertising opt-out generally stops eligible interest-based use; it does not necessarily stop all advertising, security measurement, contextual advertising, or data processing outside the scope of the tool.

Third-party technologies and content

Third-party technologies are controlled by the relevant provider, which may receive information directly from your browser or device and combine it with information from other services where permitted. Third parties may act as our service providers, independent businesses, or both, depending on the purpose and agreement. Their handling of information is governed by their own notices as well as applicable contractual restrictions. When you interact with embedded media, social buttons, maps, chat, CAPTCHA, or another external feature, the provider may set or read its own technologies. Retention and deletion

Each persistent cookie has an expiration period determined by its purpose and configuration. Typical periods are summarized in the provider table and detailed in Cookie Preferences. We may shorten retention, refresh a cookie when you return, or replace a technology as configurations change. Session cookies ordinarily expire at the end of the session.

Information derived from cookies, such as aggregated analytics, security records, consent evidence, or campaign reports, may be retained separately from the cookie for the period reasonably necessary for the purpose, to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain security. Deleting a browser cookie does not automatically delete information already stored on a server. International data handling

Vitel Global and its providers operate in multiple countries. Cookie information may therefore be processed in a country other than the one in which you are located. Children’s privacy

The Services covered by this Policy are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly use cookies to profile children under 13 for targeted advertising. If we learn that cookie-related personal information was collected from a child in circumstances requiring parental consent or another legal safeguard, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect cookie-related information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
