Vitel AI Supplemental Terms

Effective date: September 16, 2026
Last updated: September 16, 2026

These Vitel AI Supplemental Terms (“AI Terms”) apply when a customer or user accesses artificial intelligence, machine learning, automated transcription, generative AI, conversation intelligence, sentiment, recommendation, summarization, classification, translation, or similar features made available by Vitel Global Communications LLC in Vitel Meet or another Vitel Global service (“AI Features”). These AI Terms supplement the applicable Agreement and product-specific terms.

Definitions

“Input” means prompts, audio, video, text, meeting content, documents, data, instructions, or other content submitted to or processed by an AI Feature.

“Output” means text, transcripts, summaries, highlights, action items, translations, classifications, sentiment or engagement indicators, recommendations, or other content generated or derived by an AI Feature.

“Customer Content” has the meaning given in the applicable Agreement or product terms and includes Inputs to the extent supplied by or on behalf of Customer.

Use of AI Features

Customer may use AI Features only in accordance with the Agreement, applicable product terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and law. Customer is responsible for determining whether an AI Feature is appropriate for its intended purpose and for configuring human review and internal controls appropriate to the risks of that use.

Vitel Global may impose reasonable rate limits, usage thresholds, feature restrictions, safety filters, or other controls to protect the service, comply with law, or reduce misuse.

Inputs and Rights

Customer represents that it has all rights, permissions, notices, consents, and lawful bases necessary to submit Inputs and authorize their processing. Customer must not submit content that infringes intellectual property, violates privacy or confidentiality duties, or is otherwise unlawful.

As between the parties, Customer retains its rights in Customer Content. Customer authorizes Vitel Global and its authorized service providers to process Inputs only as permitted by the Agreement, applicable privacy documentation, and these AI Terms.

Outputs

Subject to the Agreement and applicable law, Vitel Global does not claim ownership of Customer-specific Outputs merely because they are generated by an AI Feature. Customer remains responsible for determining whether it has rights to use an Output and whether an Output may be protected by intellectual property law.

AI systems may produce the same or similar output for different users. Outputs may contain inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive, biased, misleading, or non-unique information. Customer must independently evaluate Outputs before relying on or distributing them.

Model Training and Service Improvement

Vitel Global may use operational telemetry, security signals, de-identified or aggregated information, and feedback to maintain, secure, evaluate, and improve the Services as permitted by law and the Agreement.

[PUBLICATION CONDITION — SELECT AND APPROVE ONE POSITION: (A) “Vitel Global does not use Customer Content, including meeting recordings, transcripts, or prompts, to train general-purpose AI models, and contractually restricts applicable AI subprocessors from using Customer Content for their independent model training.” OR (B) insert the exact, transparent description of any training/improvement use, opt-out right, and third-party model-provider practice. Do not publish this bracketed instruction.]

Third-Party AI Providers

Vitel Global may engage third-party service providers to supply models, speech-to-text, translation, hosting, safety, analytics, or other components used in AI Features. Such providers that process Customer Personal Data on Vitel Global’s behalf will be handled in accordance with the applicable Data Processing Addendum and Subprocessor Disclosure.

Customer-enabled third-party integrations that receive Outputs or Inputs at Customer’s direction are governed by the third party’s terms and privacy practices.

Human Review and Consequential Decisions

Customer must use appropriate human review where an Output may affect a person’s rights, safety, employment, finances, healthcare, education, legal position, access to essential services, or other material interests.

Customer must not use an AI Feature as the sole basis for a legally significant or similarly consequential decision about an individual where such use is prohibited or restricted by applicable law. Sentiment, engagement, behavioral, or similar inferences must not be treated as objective determinations of a person’s intent, truthfulness, competence, mental state, protected characteristics, or legal status.

Recording, Voice, and Meeting AI

Where an AI Feature processes meeting or call audio, Customer is responsible for all legally required notices and consents relating to recording, transcription, monitoring, voice processing, biometrics, or AI analysis. Customer must not use AI Features to secretly record or surveil individuals in violation of law or reasonable privacy expectations.

Prohibited AI Uses

In addition to the Acceptable Use Policy, Customer may not use AI Features to facilitate unlawful discrimination; impersonate a person deceptively; create or distribute malicious code; conduct fraud or phishing; circumvent access controls or safety protections; infer highly sensitive traits where prohibited by law; generate unlawful sexual exploitation content; conduct unlawful surveillance; or knowingly generate or distribute content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Customer may not attempt to extract model weights, system prompts, confidential model instructions, security controls, or non-public training data through prompt injection, model inversion, automated extraction, or similar techniques except where expressly authorized by Vitel Global in writing for legitimate security testing.

No Professional Advice

AI Outputs are provided for informational and productivity purposes and are not legal, medical, financial, tax, accounting, employment, compliance, or other professional advice. Customer is responsible for obtaining qualified professional review where appropriate.

Accuracy; No Guarantee

Vitel Global does not warrant that an AI Feature will identify every speaker, word, action item, deadline, sentiment, topic, or relevant fact, or that an Output will be suitable for Customer’s intended purpose. Accuracy may be affected by audio quality, language, accents, overlapping speech, technical terminology, environmental noise, incomplete context, or model limitations.

Feedback

If Customer voluntarily submits ratings, corrections, comments, or other feedback concerning AI Features, Vitel Global may use that feedback to improve its services, subject to the Agreement and applicable privacy documentation. Customer should not include confidential or unnecessary personal information in feedback unless authorized.

Beta AI Features

AI Features identified as beta, preview, experimental, or early access may change materially, may be unavailable without notice, and may have additional limitations. Customer should not use beta AI Features for production or regulated use cases unless expressly authorized under the applicable Agreement.

Suspension and Safety Controls

Vitel Global may restrict an AI Feature where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security threat, legal risk, model-provider restriction, safety incident, or violation of these AI Terms. Vitel Global may deploy automated or manual safety controls designed to detect prohibited or abusive use.

Liability and Relationship to Agreement

The warranties, disclaimers, indemnities, and limitations of liability in the applicable Agreement apply to AI Features. If these AI Terms conflict with product-specific terms concerning an AI Feature, the more specific provision controls for that feature unless the applicable signed agreement states otherwise.

Updates and Contact

Vitel Global may update these AI Terms to reflect changes in AI Features, technology, law, safety practices, or model providers. Material changes will take effect in accordance with the Agreement and applicable law.
